Innovation and audacity in the search for new ingredients and new formulas focused on the well-being and health of skin are in our DNA. The innovation centre works with several technological processes such as stabilisation, which encapsulates silicon using pharmaceutical technology to deliver the active ingredient to the epidermis, vehiculation to maximise transdermal penetrability and extended-release, biological processes based on biomimicry and botanical extracts of natural origin.

AMIFAR LABORATORIOS S.L. is carrying out a project funded by the CENTRO DE DESARROLLO TECNOLÓGICO E INDUSTRIAL (CDTI) IDI-20191094 within the PID- RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT LINE, called "DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW TECHNOLOGICAL STRATEGY BASED ON BIOMIMESIS AS A SOURCE OF ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY NATURAL SUNSCREENS". AMIFAR LABORATORIOS S.L. is carrying out a project funded by the CENTRO DE DESARROLLO TECNOLÓGICO E INDUSTRIAL (CDTI) IDI-20191094 within the PID- RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT LINE, called "DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW TECHNOLOGICAL STRATEGY BASED ON BIOMIMESIS AS A SOURCE OF ENVIRONMENTALLY-FRIENDLY NATURAL SUNSCREENS".
The company's objective with this project is to design, develop and scale up a new generation of 100% natural and environmentally friendly sunscreens, capable of protecting against UV solar radiation by direct methods (absorption and dissipation of solar radiation in the form of heat without generating toxic residues) and indirect methods (dual antioxidant and anti-inflammatory action, thanks to the deactivation of excited species and free radicals).
The project is being developed with the technical collaboration of the University of Granada and the management and coordination of the company Ei2 Global Consulting S.L. The project is being carried out at the company's factory in Polígono Industrial Asegra in Peligros (Granada).
The project is currently underway at its initial milestone with an estimated duration of 30 months.
The R&D project is being carried out using public funding, specifically thanks to a grant in the form of a subsidised loan and a non-refundable instalment from the Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial (CDTI) and the European Union through co-financing from ERDF funds.

AMIFAR LABORATORIOS S.L. is carrying out a project co-financed by the EUROPEAN REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND (ERDF) IDI-20200675 to promote technological development, innovation and quality research, within the DIRECT EXPANSION LINE -LICa, called "ACQUISITION OF NEW EQUIPMENT FOR AMIFAR LABORATORIOS FACILITIES".
The project has a €443,658.34 budget and an execution period running from 19 February 2020 to 19 August 2021. The purpose of this project is to acquire equipment and advanced technology for the automation, expansion and improvement of Amifar's production facilities. The project is being carried out at the company's facilities in Granada.
The investment project is co-financed by the Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial (CDTI) and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

AMIFAR LABORATORIOS S.L. is carrying out a project co-financed by the EUROPEAN REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT FUND (ERDF) IDI-20200009 to promote technological development, innovation and quality research, within the DIRECT EXPANSION LINE - LICa, called "ACQUISITION OF NEW EQUIPMENT TO EXPAND PRODUCTION IN THE COSMETIC INDUSTRY".
The project has a €717,560.00 budget and an execution period that has spanned from 03 November 2019 to 30 July 2021. The objective of this project is to expand Amifar Laboratorios' capacity by investing in advanced equipment and technology. The project is being carried out at the company's facilities in Granada.
The investment project is co-financed by the Centro para el Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial (CDTI) and the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
